UNDERNEATH GROSVENOR ARCH |
Grosvenor Arch is an easily-accessible attraction located just nine miles south of Kodachrome Basin State Park along Cottowood Canyon Road. There is a marked dirt road coming left off Cottonwood Canyon Road that will take you to the parking area which includes a picnic area and campground. From the parking area, there is a short, paved, ADA-accessible path taking you to the base of the arch. It's pretty cool that they made such a remote attraction ADA-accessible, as there are not many easily accessible attractions within Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. In addition to the paved path, there is also a way to climb up the backside of the arch to get a better view of the arch and the surrounding area.
