The Navajo Loop Trail may be the most popular trail within Bryce Canyon National Park, as it is a short 1.4 mile round-trip hike accessed from the popular Sunrise Point viewing area. It also packs a lot of impressive scenery within a short distance, including Thors Hammer, Wall Street and Twin Bridges. While a short hike, a lot of elevation change is required, as the trail will take you from the canyon rim to the bottom of the canyon and back up. My kids weren't very happy about the steep climb out of the canyon at the end of the hike when we visited. Expect a lot of crowds when you visit. While possible, it would be difficult to find a time when this trail is not busy. Since the hike is so short, you can easily add the Queens Garden or Peekaboo Loop trails onto it. These trail also by some very impressive rock formations, while receiving slightly less foot traffic than the Navajo Loop Trail.
